In its report titled "Overview of EPA’s State and Tribal Indoor Radon Grants Program: A Focus on Activities Conducted During Fiscal Year 2025," the EPA State Indoor Radon Grant Program notes successes in Continuing Education, Outreach, and Technical Support.

In its report, EPA noted that Montana made significant progress expanding technical capacity with the number of certified radon mitigators increasing to at least five in every county in the state. Additionally, through partnerships with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry, various builders, several realtors, Habitat for Humanity, and other organizations, the program has begun to standardize the installation of passive radon mitigation systems in new construction.
