"Continued declines in many cancerrates"  including lung cancer death rates in women.   Smoking
is referred to in this report in connection with lung cancer, but radon
is not mentioned at all.
What will it take for NCI, NAACCR, NIH
and CDC to be aware of and include radon in their lung cancer research,
data, public outreach and education?  Getting them on board would
boost the radon health risk message enormously.
