• Public Presentation: Tuesday, January 19th at the East Portland Neighborhood office
from 7-8 PM. 1017 NE 117 (On the corner of 117 and Holliday).

Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers in the U.S., responsible for an estimated 22,000 lung cancer deaths every year. Therefore, the American Lung Association and the EPA recommend that every home be tested for radon, previously tested homes should be re-tested if they have been remodeled or weatherized. Testing for radon is easy and inexpensive. Test your home yourself with a $14.00 EPA approved kit from the American Lung Association. www.lungoregon.org/air/Radon.html.
