Radon Information Booth set up in the lobby of Rachel Carson State Office Building in Harrisburg, PA during the month of January.
Proclamation from Governor Rendell proclaiming the month January as Radon Action Month in Pennsylvania.
Radon Public Service Annoucements (PSA's) for TV and Radio featuring Department of Environmental Protection's Secretary John Hanger will aired across Pennslvania during the month of January. The PSA's will be aired on all TV and Radio Stations affiliated with the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters during prime time hours.
In a grant to the PA American Lung Association from the PA Radon Division, free radon test kits will be made available to Pennsylvania citizens via a PA ALA website. See: http://www.lunginfo.org/freeradonkit .
Banners for NRAM on the Radon Division Home page, Bureau of Radiation Protection Homepage and
hopefully the PA Department of Environmental Protections webpage.
Advertising for NRAM will appear on the electronic Billboard Board-Marquee at the Harrisburg Farm Show Complex for the month of January. Tens of thousand of people view this huge Billboard when they enter the city of Harrisburg and when they attend the numerous functions held at Farm Show Complex such as the Annual (weeklong) Farm Show event in January and the PA Sportsman's Show among others.
Numerous talks to concerned interest groups such as Reitrement Communities, Gated Housing Communities and Health Centers. We were not permitted to use print advertising this year such as in Parent magazines and Parent-Child magazines or newspapers as was done in the past.
