Radon Test Kits Offered to Residents

Health Department distributes test kits to residents through a partnership with the Essex County Cancer Coalition (ECCC). ECCC purchased kits as part of the Radon Awareness Program. This program is an initiaive of the NJDEP- Radon Program and offers up to $1000 reimbursement for the purchase of radon test kits . Funding for the program is provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency-Indoor Air- SIRG Grant.
