EPA resource available online only: http://www.epa.gov/radon/pdfs/learning_about_radon.pdf

This 18-page online publication was developed by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for Native American audiences. The resource discusses radon's place in the world, the basics on testing for radon, and how homes can be fixed to reduce radon levels. Native Americans should contact their Tribal health department or state radon program office for more information.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Nationwide RadNet System

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) National 'RadNet' System monitors the nation's air, drinking water, precipitation, and pasteurized milk to determine levels of radiation in the environment. RadNet sample analyses and monitoring results provide baseline data on background levels of radiation in the environment and can detect increased radiation from radiological incidents.
